Laura Puckett
Laura has taught swim lessons for over 35 years. She is the founder and President of OTO Swim, LLC. Her swim curriculum equips and empowers children to be confident and safe in and around the water. She is also the author of Olivia the Otter, “May I Go in the Water?.” a companion book that helps parents reinforce the principles they are learning in class. Drowning is the #1 cause of death for children ages 1-4. Laura believes that it is essential for children to learn the skills of survival around the water. She makes her home in Travelers Rest, SC, and is a wife, mother to 6 children, and grandmother to 6.

“Hi, my name is Lexi and I am going into my sophomore year of college as a nursing student. I have been swimming competitively for as long as I can remember and my whole family is heavily involved in the swimming world! I have babysat and nannied almost full time for many years and I have a huge passion for kids. I am so excited that I have the opportunity to work and have fun with your kids in the water this summer and teach them skills that are so important for their safety and well being! “

Hey, I’m Katherine! I just graduated from Clemson University and am starting law school at Wake Forest in the fall. I was a camp counselor for 3 summers and grew up swimming competitively. I love working with kids and am passionate about helping them feel comfortable in the water!
Gracie Puckett
Hi, my name is Gracie! I just graduated from Clemson University this last May! I grew up loving the water and swam competitively in middle school and high school. I love being around kids! I was a nanny and a camp counselor throughout high school and babysit when I am in town from college! I am excited to meet your kids and teach them how to be comfortable and love being around water!

Hi, I’m Casey! I’m a rising junior at Clemson University studying business management! I swam competitively for many years, and coached my neighborhood swim team the past two summers! I love swimming and working with kids, and am so excited to meet your kids and help them learn to swim!

Hi, my name is Rosa Hargrove. I just finished my freshman year at Clemson University where I am studying Psychology. I have been babysitting since middle school and love kids. I am so excited to meet yours!!
Maggie Lewis
Hi ya’ll! I’m Maggie! I am a junior at the University of Alabama studying social work. I have worked at various camps each summer since 2020 and am Red Cross CPR/First Aid lifeguard certified. I love hanging out with kids and being in the water—especially the lake. A fun fact about me is that my favorite candy is Starbursts! I can’t wait to meet you!
